Today, the attacks from sectors of UNITA against Makuta Nkondo are a portrait of the panic that has set in. All because the veteran decided to align himself with PRA-JA Servir Angola, led by Abel Chivukuvuku, that true political animal — in the words of the renowned Albino Pakisse. The truth is harsh: Adalberto Costa Júnior feels the ground slipping from beneath his feet. The UNITA leader knows that 2027 could be the year of shame if MPLA wins again and, even worse, if PRA-JA surpasses UNITA at the polls. And that’s why part of his base has turned into a virtual militia, attacking everything and everyone who dares to breathe outside their stronghold.

From now on, will the reaction of the fanatics be to insult, invent, and spew hate every time PRA-JA announces a prominent name? What kind of opposition is this that doesn’t respect pluralism? What moral does a party have that, incapable of renewing itself internally, decides to persecute those who dare to think differently?
UNITA has become, in certain sectors, a hostage to a radical and extremist wing that confuses opposition with personal attack, and disagreement with betrayal. If Makuta Nkondo, a patriot and fighter for ideas, is already being insulted for following a new path, what will they say about the next names Abel Chivukuvuku will present?
Get ready. Because he will announce heavyweight names. People with history, credibility, and vision. People who don’t bend to parties that have lost their way.
What does this UNITA have to offer, other than hatred and insults? No clear proposals, no solid plan. Just noise. This UNITA is useless. It only attacks, offends, and insults. And when a party reaches that point, it reveals more about its own failure than about others.
Chivukuvuku doesn’t shout — he builds. He doesn’t insult — he brings people together. And that’s why he scares them. Because he doesn’t feed on anger, but on ideas. Because he has vision, while others only have ambition.
It’s time to make it clear: the enemy of the Angolan people is not those who form new parties — it’s those who delay the country with old mentalities. UNITA should fight MPLA and stop persecuting those who want the same end by different paths.
Because if it continues like this, it won’t be MPLA that defeats it in 2027 — it will be its own arrogance.
